Growing up in North County of San Diego the Ocean has always been special to me. From beach days with my brother and mom as a child, to learning the waves bodysurfing with my grandpa. Followed by a passion for bodyboarding, to eventually bringing a camera into the surf! The Ocean has provided me so much! While riding waves became the goal at a young age my photographic journey into documenting them began in 2011. What started as getting shots of friends surfing quickly turned into a desire to photograph waves fleeting moments inside and out of the barrel. With that focus photography has given me a greater appreciation for the Ocean. My perspective of waves and what they offer me, for my own riding ability changed into what possible images I can capture to share with others! I hope my images inspire your own feelings towards the Ocean and its limitless beauty!
